Prof Damian Tom Dery

Prof. Damian Tom-Dery, Associate Professor of Plant Ecology and Management at the University for Development Studies (UDS), offers over two decades of specialized expertise in Savanna Ecology, Agro-Ecology, Plant and Species Diversity, and Global Change.

His extensive experience includes significant contributions to research and teaching, as well as consultancy roles with national and international organizations such as GIZ, CIFOR, and the Northern Development Authority. Currently, he serves as Adjunct Head of the Biochemistry Department at UDS, building upon his previous roles as Graduate Programmes Coordinator and Examinations Officer. Prof. Tom-Dery is committed to sharing his knowledge and leadership to advance ecological understanding and sustainable practices.
